CICP Closes Office; Employees to Work from Home

Reading Time: 2 minutes

INDIANAPOLIS (March 16, 2020) – Central Indiana Corporate Partnership (CICP) does not have any confirmed cases of COVID-19, but in an abundance of caution we have decided to take additional measures to ensure our risk remains low and to respond to community calls for social distancing that can help block additional spread of the virus. Beginning Monday, March 16, we are closing our office and asking employees to work from home through Friday, April 3.

When making these difficult decisions, we continue to take into consideration guidelines from the Indiana State Department of Health and the Centers for Disease Control, along with recommendations from the City of Indianapolis, the State of Indiana, and our stakeholders. As always, the health and safety of our employees and their families are our top priorities.

CICP and our initiatives AgriNovus Indiana, Ascend Indiana, BioCrossroads, Conexus Indiana, Energy Systems Network, and TechPoint will continue our work and be available via phone, email, and video conferences. At this time, the only interruption in activities is the cancellation of all CICP and CICP initiative events until Friday, April 3.  All programs, projects and studies will continue to move forward.

We will continue to monitor and evaluate the situation as Friday, April 3 approaches. Our board member companies and other industry leaders have been and will continue to be valuable resources as we navigate this unprecedented situation.
