AgriNovus Indiana, a non-profit initiative focused on growing Indiana’s agbioscience economy, announces a staffing addition to support its talent-focused programming. Skylar Clingan will serve as Field Atlas manager and will continue the ongoing content development and promotion of the Field Atlas platform, including the management of the Field Atlas ambassador program.

Launched in 2020 and available online at myFieldAtlas.com, the Field Atlas platform enables students to explore agbioscience careers through online talent assessments, videos and profiles and identifies jobs and companies that align with their personal and professional interests. Field Atlas ambassadors are college students selected to serve as on-campus connectors between students, professors and academic advisors and the Field Atlas career exploration platform.

“Field Atlas is a powerful online platform that empowers students to explore the agbiosciences, and our  ambassadors make it possible to introduce the next generation of talent on a peer level,” said Mitch Frazier, president and CEO of AgriNovus Indiana. “Skylar pioneered our Ambassador program to a successful launch and will now lead this next chapter of its growth and ability to connect students to careers in agbioscience.”

Clingan previously was contracted with AgriNovus to support the Field Atlas ambassador program since its inception in May 2020. He has served in education and organizational-related roles with the Center for Career Opportunities and the Student Life Young Alumni Advisory Board at Purdue University. Clingan is a former Indiana FFA state officer.

Clingan graduated from Purdue University with a Bachelor of Science in Animal Science and Agricultural Education. He credits himself as a lifelong learner with a desire to help others reach their potential through education.
