Beck’s Completes Soybean Tower, Plans to Add 56 New Jobs
Governor Eric J. Holcomb and Indiana Secretary of Commerce Brad Chambers will join executives from Beck’s tomorrow (Wednesday) at 2 p.m. to celebrate the completion of its new east soybean tower. The facility is part of the company’s ongoing Hamilton County headquarters and production operations expansion, which was announced in 2019 and will create 56 new jobs by the end of 2022.
As one of the largest soybean processing towers in the world, the facility is capable of processing three million bushels of soybeans per year, doubling Beck’s processing to six million at its Hamilton County location. In addition to the new 10-story, stand-alone processing tower with an observation deck, the expansion will include five new warehouses for seed and equipment storage, as well as office space for additional employees. Beck’s employs more than 400 full-time associates in Indiana.
